A unique wabi sabi bowl made by hand from local black locust wood in our shop in Downeast Maine.
We picked up this beautiful piece of black locust wood in Lamoine, Maine which we salvaged from a tree cut by an arborist. We shaped and hollowed out the bowl on a lathe. The bowl features a lovely wabi sabi hole left by a long-forgotten bolt left in the tree, and on the oustide a naturally-occuring live-edge indent.
The surface of the wood has been finished with food-safe organic solvent-free linseed oil and candelilla wax.
This bowl is completely one-of-a-kind unique and non-replicable.
About 7" across by 2 1/4" tall overall.
You will receive the same exact bowl as in the photos.
