FREE Domestic SHIPPING on orders over $50

* For the foreseeable, we'll be offering a selection of our wares with a sliding scale price structure to provide more accessibility to our work. We've selected a range that we think is reasonable given the amount of work that went into each piece, and ask that you select the price that works for you. Alone we can't change the systems that keep us down, but taking this small step towards making our prices more equitable is a start. We want as many people as possible to enjoy what we create!*

A medium-sized scoop with a short tailed handle, carved by hand + knife from local storm damaged white birch

The coloration of this white birch is unusually dark and multi-toned, and resulted from naturally-occuring damage that the tree sustained. We have never come across birch with this dramatic coloration before!

We carved this wooden scoop by hand in our shop using traditional handtools and techniques. We finish our spoons by knife and use no sandpaper during our process. The end of the handle of this scoop features a zigzagged deocation, and the inside of the bowl features a smooth faceted texture. The warm wood is smooth to the touch from our homemade vegan-friendly finish of organic solvent-free linseed oil and candelilla wax.

MEASUREMENTS: 4 3/8" long by 2" at the widest.
